All that is required is activation. Registration is not required. (Unless by "registration" you meant to say "activation".)

If by "activation", you mean entering the serial key i received in email during installation; that was fine. By "registration", i mean registering the product online, via Microsoft's website. It that is not necessary, then i have no problem (apart from audigy 2 not working and bluetooth not working).

Entering the serial key (Product Key) is not activating.
The Window that opens when Vista boots up has your system info in the top. Maximize the window so that you can read all the items. One line says whether or not Vista is activated. If you left the box "Activate when I get on the internet" checked on the first screen at the time you started the installation then Vista should be activated already (if you have been on the internet at least once). Does the info in the top of the Window say that Vista is activated? If it does then you do not have to do anything further. If it says Vista is not activated then post back.
Audigy 2 and bluetooth are discussed in several threads in this newsgroup. Scan down through the posts and you will find several.
